By mobipicker.com
Xbox Scorpio full specs were recently revealed by Microsoft via Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry. Now that all the information is out, many of you, the players might be wondering about which one of these two next-gen consoles will be better for you based on their specs, performance and the 4K gaming. To be honest, choosing between these two powerful consoles is quite hard. So, it’s better to have all the facts and figures lined-up and then determine which one is actually the best.
So, here’s a detailed comparison between the Xbox Scorpio and PlayStation 4 Pro for you to understand which one of these two 4K consoles is best for you.

The 4K Performance

The release of PS4 Pro enabled the players to enjoy 4K gaming with HDR. However, both of Xbox Scorpio and PS4 Pro have their own special way of running 4K games at high resolutions. This is mainly because both of these consoles have different specs. For example, the Xbox Scorpio has 6 Teraflops of the computational power of GPU and it runs the games at 4K better than the PS4 Pro that has 4.2 Teraflops.
However, the PS4 Pro doesn’t run the games at native 4K. Instead, it runs the games using a technique named as Checkerboarding to run the games at near the native 4K. This particular technique converts a 2×2 pixel ratio to 4×4 without much of the loss of image quality. On the other hand, the innovative Xbox Scorpio runs the games at the Native 4K. it’s a big difference.

Streaming Services

Both of the PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio support streaming services such as Netflix and Youtube in 4K HDR. This means that the users will be able to watch their favorite shows at 4K resolution on both of the consoles. However, the Xbox Scorpio has an upper hand here because it has 4K Bluray Drive.

The Specs

There is a huge specs difference in both of the consoles. If you take a keen look at the specs and compare them, you’ll definitely be able to know which one is best for you. The PS4 Pro utilizes 8 Core x86 Jaguar Processor that is clocked at a maximum 2.1 GHz. It is also armed with a GPU with a computational power of 4.2 Teraflops. This is significantly a huge improvement over the standard PS4 console that has only 1.8 Teraflops of computational power. Plus Sony recently upgraded the PS4 Pro with extra RAM to have the maximum transferring speeds of 218 GB/sec.
On the other hand, on Xbox Scorpio, there is a custom 8 Core Jaguar  Processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. It’s GPU utilizes 6 teraflops of Computational power. Microsoft has also loaded up the Scorpio with 12 GBs of RAM that offers a transfer rate of 326 GB/sec.

The Release and the Price of Consoles

Comparison of both of these next-gen consoles based on their prices is impossible at the moment. Microsoft hasn’t yet revealed Xbox Scorpio’s original retail price. However, according to some industry analysts, rumors and leaks, the Xbox Scorpio price could be between $350 to $400. They have also stated that the Scorpio’s price could also be a huge factor in the demise of the console if it is more than $399.
Xbox Scorpio is scheduled to launch in the upcoming Holiday season. Microsoft has yet to announce the price and release date for the Xbox Scorpio.

Games

Based on what information we have so far about the games. On Xbox Scorpio, there won’t be any exclusive titles because all the games that will be released for Scorpio will also be playable on Xbox One. something really similar goes for the PlayStation 4 Pro. However, a big difference will be that the Xbox Scorpio will be capable of VR. Microsoft will likely still be using the Oculus Rift while PlayStation 4 Pro uses the PSVR headset.
So, based on the above facts, which console will be best for you? Have you decided yet? Well, if not, have another look at all these factors and decide carefully. And don’t forget to tell us about your console choices as well. Please leave a comment below.

This Guy Just Made a Gun That Fires Nerf Darts at Twice the Speed of Sound

By tribunist.com Nerf guns were created so it was completely possible to shoot your friends and relatives in the most enjoyable and painless way possible. Sure, getting shot by a Nerf toy gets marginally irritating if it keeps happening and you don’t actually want to take part, but it was never super-painful. Until now… Toy manufacturers want to avoid lawsuits so they limit the power that products such as those created by Nerf have. It might not particularly tickle when you get hit by a Nerf dart, especially at close range or in in certain sensitive areas, however, you more than likely won’t find yourself writhing on the ground in agony. A YouTube user by the name of Giaco Whatever struggled to see the fun in that concept and decided to knock things up a notch. Giaco Whatever, who posts videos under the tagline “I make things,” has found a way to make Nerf darts deadly and has posted several videos of his results online. Using an air-powered cannon packing 400 PSI of pressure, ...
